Hello, my name is Mhakea and I am a Usui Reiki Master Teacher, licensed therapist, certified meditation instructor and healing artist. As the founder of Mystic YaYa, a spiritual healing practice, I guide individuals to awaken their sense of personal power through energy and insight. With nearly 20 years of experience as a clinician in the mental health sector, my passion for healing is multifaceted and deeply rooted in nurturing self discovery and acceptance.
As a natural healer born and raised in New Orleans, I've always been sensitive to energy and discovered Reiki many years ago. I offer healing experiences and rituals custom to your own personal intentions using Reiki, crystal grids and the vibrational energy of affirmations. My work and education led me to create the Ritual affirmation deck as a gateway to self discovery and empowerment. I believe in honoring the mind, body and spirit and use my intuition to guide my healing work. My intention is to help you awaken your sense of personal power. My hope is that you feel lighter, more relaxed and inspired to live as your highest self. I hold the belief that being open to the possibilities can shift the energy and summon the gifts waiting for you.

What is Reiki?
Reiki is an ancient healing technique like acupuncture or massage. It is best described as universal life force energy. It is a gentle non-intrusive, hands on or off practice in which spiritual energy is channeled. The recipient's body acts as a sponge and absorbs the energy where it is needed most. Reiki is not a religion. It is a tool like yoga or meditation that can help you along your healing path, both spiritually and physically. Reiki healing is a beautiful compliment to any medical treatment or insight oriented therapy.
As a healing artist, I combine my intuition and artistic talents to create unique energy-infused crystal grids utilizing photographs. The photograph serves as a conduit between the vibrations of the crystals and the energetic patterns in which they are meticulously arranged, all aligned with a desired intention. Every crystal within the grid contributes to an overall vibrational frequency. Each grid becomes a sacred space where the energy of the crystals harmonizes and interacts with the energetic essence of the person in the photograph, fostering a profound healing experience and unlocking the potential for manifestation. Even when simply used as art, it’s a visual prayer- a physical image of energy and intention.
